All-Ireland Champions, Kilkenny bounced back after suffering defeat to Wexford to comfortably beat Dublin in Division One of the Senior League

This third round clash on Sunday (12th March) in Tom Ryall Park, Kilmanagh was a one sided affair

Kilkenny opened the scoring with point from Kelly Ann Doyle. This was followed by a well taken goal by Davina Tobin, who had started in defence and as the ball was played forward, continued her run before finishing to the net. Alison Maguire (D) replied with two points from placed balls to get her side going

Kilkenny scored 1-4 without reply between the ninth & 27th minutes through Michelle Quilty (4 points, 3 frees) and a well taken goal by Katie Power. The blast left the score: Kilkenny 2-5 Dublin 0-2
